How I got a Star Trek writing credit!
Ten year old me would never have believed this would happen.

WRITING

As part of the narrative team at Mighty Kingdom,  I contibuted to the writing of this game. Some of my tasks included episode scouting, ideation, outline creation and episode scripting. At each step modifications were made based on feedback from the interal team as well as both external clients.

NARRATIVE DATA ANALYSIS

To create a roadmap for the narrative team, I helped analysis the narrative beats of both Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money and Star Trek Lower Decks. This involved recording information on the tensions and themes for each scene (or cut scene) and translating this into quantitive data. 

 

This research was presented at the Technically Games conference.

CUT SCENES

Working with ESG's proprietary cut scene software in Unity, I blocked out and polished several of my own and other narrative designers episode scripts. These were subsequentially reviewed as a team and modified for best cinematic practice.
